Senior School Report

December 3, 2025 – Edition 16

As we conclude another busy and rewarding year, I want to extend my thanks to all our families for their ongoing support. The partnership between home and school is central to the success of our students and we are deeply grateful for the trust you place in us.

The holiday season is a time to pause, recharge and reconnect with loved ones. I hope each of you enjoys a restful break and returns refreshed for the year ahead.

Looking back on the past couple of weeks, there have been some wonderful moments and milestones worth celebrating.

Year 12 Retreat

Our 2026 Year 12 students recently participated in an overnight retreat at Golden Valleys Adventure Camp. Unlike the physical challenges often associated with our camps program, this retreat focused on mental preparation for the final 12 months of secondary schooling. Students engaged in reflection activities, expressed gratitude to those who have supported them on their journey and considered the opportunities that await them in their final year.

Early Commencement

For the final two weeks of Term 4, Senior School students have begun following their 2026 timetable and have made a start on essential coursework for their new year level. This program allowed them to meet their teachers, settle into new classes and establish a strong foundation for the year ahead.

Year 7 Orientation

Last Friday, we welcomed our newest students to the Senior School: our 2026 Year 7 cohort. It was a day filled with excitement as they explored their new surroundings, discovered the spaces where they will learn and grow and began forming new friendships that will support them throughout their journey.

Orientation activities helped them feel confident and connected as they step into this next chapter.

Casey Grammar School (CGS) Visual Arts Exhibition

Our recent Visual Arts Exhibition was a wonderful celebration of creativity and talent. Families enjoyed a diverse range of work across Product Design & Technologies, Visual Communication Design, Art and Digital Photography, as well as captivating performances from our talented musicians.

It was a true showcase of the artistic spirit within our school community. Thanks to everyone who attended and well done to our students and their teachers for the amazing display of artwork that featured in the exhibition.

Thank you again for being part of our school community. Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a wonderful start to the new year.
