Exams Wrapped Up Across Senior School

As our Year 12 students completed their final Victorian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (VCAA) exams, the focus shifted to Years 7-11. Over the past week, we held exams across the Senior School, including Year 11 assessments in our new Learning Centre. This was a sneak peek into the new spaces that will officially open in Term 1, 2026.

Congratulations to all students for their commitment during exam preparation and all the best for the upcoming period of Early Commencement in your 2026 classes.

Early Commencement and Booklists

From Monday, 24 November 2025, students in Years 7-11 will kick off Early Commencement. This is a great chance for students to step into their 2026 classes, meet their new teachers and start building new friendships with classmates.

Early Commencement provides students with a valuable head start by allowing them to experience new subjects, build strong relationships and establish positive learning habits before the new school year begins. It is a time of fresh beginnings and renewed motivation as students transition confidently into the next stage of their learning journey.

A quick reminder that elective changes for students in Years 9-12 need to be finalised before the end of the year. The earlier these are received, the better to ensure students do not miss important content during the commencement period. Class changes will not be available in 2026, so it is important to get these sorted as soon as possible.

Parents should also have received the 2026 booklist. We encourage all families to complete their orders as soon as possible to ensure materials arrive in time for the start of classes next year. https://www.caseygrammar.vic.edu.au/booklists

Early Commencement is an important step in preparing students for success in 2026 and we look forward to seeing everyone embrace this opportunity with enthusiasm and positivity.

Senior School Art Exhibition: Creative Connections

Casey Grammar School’s Visual Arts Department is delighted to invite you to our annual Senior School Art Exhibition, celebrating the creativity and artistic achievements of our students. This year’s theme, Creative Connections, explores the many ways art allows us to communicate, collaborate and connect with ourselves, with each other and with the world around us.

Across the exhibition, visitors will discover a diverse range of artworks and designs, including paintings, drawings, ceramics, mixed media, product design, communication design and digital pieces. Each work reflects a unique personal voice while contributing to a shared narrative of curiosity, innovation and community.

Through Creative Connections, our students have examined how creativity links ideas, emotions and experiences, highlighting art’s power to bridge differences and inspire understanding. The exhibition is a testament to the thoughtful exploration and technical skill developed throughout the year in the Visual Arts program.

Families, friends and community members are warmly invited to attend and celebrate the hard work and imagination of our emerging artists. Join us in celebrating the next generation of creative thinkers and makers and experience how art continues to connect us all.
