Reconciliation Week

June 4, 2025

Reconciliation Week was marked across the Senior School with a range of activities that encouraged understanding, reflection, and connection.

The week began with a Sorry Day ceremony to lower the Australian, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander flags at half-mast. Members of the school community gathered to reflect on Australia’s history and the importance of reconciliation, and it set a thoughtful tone for the days that followed.

One of the key moments during Reconciliation Week was the opening of the arbour – a new space designed and built by the Year 11 Product Design Technologies class. The arbour includes Indigenous artwork representing each of our four Houses and will be a place for students to gather and reflect. It’s a great example of students using their skills to contribute something meaningful to the school.
