Congratulations to Beenu!
We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievement of our Junior School Music Captain, Beenu F, from 6K.
On 6 June 2026, Beenu competed at the 100th Annual Bendigo Eisteddfod, held at the Capital Theatre.
Beenu delivered a captivating performance of “Sway” by Michael Bublé, earning first place in the Under 14 Years Jazz, Blues, Soul, Gospel Vocal Solo section. This is a remarkable accomplishment, and we are incredibly proud of her talent, dedication and hard work.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to Beenu’s singing teacher, Tilarni Senn, for her guidance, encouragement, and expertise in supporting Beenu’s musical journey.

A big thank you to all Year 10, Year 11, and Year 12 Music students who performed on 4 June. We’re very proud of all our performers, particularly those for whom this was their first public performance.
Students presented material that was the culmination of a semester of work, with their performances counting toward curriculum outcomes for their subjects.
A big thank you to everyone that attended, including family, friends and staff. A very big thank you also to our Performing Arts Captain, Tessa S, being MC at the event, and to Mr Evans, not only for his work in preparing the students, but also for running sound and lights for the performance.
