Upcoming Events

Private Music Tuition

Private music tuition has commenced for the year and those students that have returned enrolment forms should have received communication from their teacher about their times for the first few weeks.

We still have vacancies in music studios for enrolments, so if you would like to re-enrol or to commence lessons, please submit a signed enrolment form to Antoinette Seal: a.seal@caseygrammar.vic.edu.au before those vacancies are filled.

Ensemble Rehearsals

Ensembles have re-commenced with rehearsals already under way for concerts later in the year. Students that were in our Ensemble Program in 2025 will have received an invitation to continue their involvement.

It is important to let the Ensemble Director know of their intention to continue or discontinue as soon as possible so we can plan effectively.

Students not in an ensemble, but who wish to be, are encouraged to talk with their Instrumental/Vocal Music Teacher. They can also speak to their Classroom Music Teacher, or with Mrs Seal for available options.

Being a member of an ensemble is an excellent way to encourage young musicians. It provides them with repertoire to prepare, opportunities to perform, challenges and development of new skills, and a wonderful social outlet.

Students that are committed to our ensemble program and regularly attend rehearsals and concerts are eligible for a discount to their private music tuition fees.

Senior School Music Information Night

For those families interested in finding out more about Co-Curricular Music Programs in the Senior School, please note that we are holding an information night on the 19th of February.

Families can find out about the Private Music Tuition and Ensemble Programs we run, how they differ from the experience of Music in the classroom, and other opportunities within Performing Arts in the Senior School. This event is geared toward families that are new to our school, and students in the Senior School, though all are welcome to attend.

SIS Big Night

Casey Grammar School will again be supporting the SIS Big Night alongside other SIS schools.

This years’ concert will be held on the 31st of March at the Drum Theatre, offering a wonderful showcase of student ability. Selected students in the Senior School will be invited to participate and information about rehearsals will be available soon.
