Term 4 Promises Fun, Learning and Leadership
It has been fabulous to welcome our Junior School students and families back for Term 4. As always our final term is shaping up to be exciting and busy, filled with opportunities for our students to learn, participate, lead, celebrate and enjoy being together.
We began with our Welcome Assembly, which enabled students to reflect on and celebrate the many highlights and achievements of Term 3. I was incredibly proud as we recognised the enthusiasm, commitment, cooperation and accomplishments of our students across so many areas of school life.
Sincere thanks to all the students involved who spoke so beautifully and special mention to Danuki who performed on the clarinet.
There is certainly plenty to look forward to this term. Our Years 2–5 Swimming Program has commenced and will see students continue to develop their confidence, skills and water safety, while our Years 3–6 Swimming Carnival promises to be another fantastic occasion filled with participation and House spirit.
Our Houses will unite for House Meetings and our Year 5 students will take an exciting step in their leadership journey as they deliver their Year 5 Leadership Speeches. It is always nice to see our students challenge themselves and demonstrate their readiness to contribute to the life of our Junior School.
We also look forward to the much-loved Booth Baskets event, along with some very special end-of-year traditions, including our Christmas Chapel and Teachers’ Assembly. These occasions remind us just how quickly the year passes and provide many opportunities to celebrate the friendships, collaboration, achievements and sense of community that make our Junior School so special.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026
I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to the Class of 2026 following its incredible Valedictory Assembly and Dinner. Both occasions were a fitting tribute to this wonderful group of young people and a celebration of their journey through Casey Grammar School.
I was particularly moved to recognise 24 students who have completed their entire 13 years of schooling here: Shamita, Gurnoor, Noah, Andrew, Dylan, Shae, Ari, Sabreen, Rahul, Mehar, Asani, David, Samuel, Scarlet, Duke, Gareth, Ryan, Taylah, Manasa, Isabel, Owen, Davin, Finn and Harrison.
I have such fond memories of these students from their seven years in Junior School. It is quite remarkable to think that they arrived at Casey Grammar as curious little Preppies, ready to begin their school journey and have now grown into the young adults we proudly celebrated at Valedictory.
For those of us who had the privilege of knowing them during their Junior School years, there is something particularly special about seeing them reach this milestone. While so much has changed since those early days, it is lovely to recognise glimpses of the children we first knew in the confident young people they have become.
To the entire Class of 2026, congratulations. We are enormously proud of you and hope you leave Casey Grammar with positive memories, strong friendships, a quality education and a lasting sense of belonging to our community.
I would also like to warmly acknowledge Kate Morgan, our Head of Senior School, for the phenomenal job she did in bringing both Valedictory events together. The care, thought and attention to detail she invested in every aspect made the assembly and dinner truly special occasions and such a fitting celebration of the Class of 2026.
Term 4 is always extremely busy, but it is also one of my favourite times of the school year. There is so much to celebrate and so many events still ahead. I look forward to sharing these final weeks of 2026 with our students, staff and families.
Footy Fever Day Raises more than $500

On the final day of Term 3, our Junior School united to celebrate Footy Fever Day and support and raise awareness for the charity Very Special Kids. Students proudly wore their favourite team colours, jerseys and sporting gear, creating an atmosphere filled with excitement, enthusiasm, school spirit and plenty of fun.
It was fantastic to see so many students embracing the day and enjoying games and friendly competition.
We are also delighted to share that, thanks to the generosity of our school community, we raised $515.63 for Very Special Kids. Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to this terrific cause!!
Lightning Premiership Celebrates Teamwork and Success
Our Years 5 and 6 students recently represented the school at the Lightning Premiership, competing in Tennis, Softball, Basketball and Cricket. It was fantastic to see students demonstrating their skills, working together as a team and showing great sportsmanship throughout the day.
All students should be incredibly proud of their efforts and the positive way they represented our school. Events like these provide the perfect opportunity for students to challenge themselves, master their skills, develop teamwork and enjoy competing alongside their peers.
A special congratulations to our Mixed Tennis B team, which finished the day as overall winners! We also congratulate our Softball Girls team, which won its competition and has progressed to the Divisional Competition.
We wish the Softball Girls the very best of luck as they take on their next challenge!
Well done to all students involved. You have done our school proud!
