Vale Class of 2026
It is with pride that we bid a fond farewell to the Class of 2026. The Valedictory Assembly gave us the opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of our Year 12 students over many years and to recognise their exceptional leadership of the school this year. The school’s Guard of Honour was again a highlight for all involved.
On Friday night staff, Year 12 students, parents and carers gathered for the Valedictory Dinner, which was a beautiful evening of celebrations. I extend my thanks to the staff who made both the assembly and the dinner so memorable.
Student Excellence Celebrated
Our students have been demonstrating excellence in a wide range of endeavours. We share their excitement in their achievements and are proud to see their efforts recognised both within and beyond the school community.
Grossbusters was Incredible!
Term 3 concluded in Junior School with a joyous musical celebration called Grossbusters. Congratulations to all students involved in this incredible production. You left your audiences begging for more. Thanks to Mrs Bronwyn Kyne and her team of helpers who made this production such a success.
SIS Book in a Day Competition
The Book in a Day competition challenges students to use a set of prompts to write an entire novella and illustrate it within a single day.
Creating an engaging story that flows seamlessly from one chapter to the next in such a short timeframe is an amazing achievement. It reflects the preparation our team members have undertaken over many lunchtimes in the lead-up to the event, as well as the writing and illustrating skills they have developed through their English and Art classes over the years.
Our students performed incredibly well, finishing fourth out of 14 schools. Well done to Rahool, Sahej, Harrison, McKenzie, Finn, Ameek, Jordan and Theekshana and thank you to Mrs Diana Thompson for her guidance and coaching of the students.
Science Talent Search Success
Casey Grammar Senior School students have achieved fantastic results in the 2026 Science Talent Search. Our students were awarded two Major bursaries, two Minor bursaries, four Distinctions and one Merit.
We look forward to presenting the students with their certificates and medals soon.
National History Challenge Shortlist
Congratulations to Brianna and Zavia (Year 12) who worked together on a rap which they entered in the 2026 National History Challenge. They completed extensive research, wrote their lyrics, then filmed and edited a video clip for their submission.
Their rap has been shortlisted, putting them in the top three entries in Australia. Brianna and Zavia have been invited to an awards ceremony later in the term.
ISV Student Poetry Competition Finalist
Congratulations to Anavya (Year 6) who is a finalist in the 2026 ISV Poetry Competition. Anavya’s poetry has been selected from a pool of over 1400 entries – a brilliant achievement.
