Classroom Music Concert
Our Year 10 and Year 11 Music classes took to the stage on Thursday, 6 November 2025, to perform the music they have been working on this semester during class. Each class chose a repertoire of four pieces that showcased the talents and skills of the ensemble and created a contrasting program. They were then responsible for learning the pieces, developing the arrangements and rehearsing the songs. In the final lead up they began rehearsing their stage performances.
The two classes were joined on stage that night by guest ensembles, the Junior Rock Band and the Jazz Ensemble.
The concert was a great night with fantastic performances by each of the ensembles, a rowdy and supportive audience and some terrible dad jokes from the MCs. Well done to all the performers on a fabulous evening.

Musical Excellence at Casey Grammar School
Bailey V in 6K participated in the Oz Schools Instrumental Championships (OSIC) Victoria State Finals – Drum Category (Years 5-6) 2025 on 25 October. He was selected from students across Australia who auditioned and made it into the top 26 drummers in Victoria.
He received excellent scores across various categories, including technique, confidence, energy, stage presence and difficulty.
