University and TAFE Open Days

During July and August, our Senior School students have attended a variety of university and TAFE Open Days throughout Victoria.

Open Days offer the perfect opportunity for students to assess their future education options and to ask any questions they might have about particular courses and providers.

One of our Year 12 students shared their experience below:

I recently went to the Monash Clayton Campus Open Day to see what they offer in finance and commerce. I was surprised by how many different pathways there are for any given degree —banking, corporate finance, business. I also learned you can structure your degree in heaps of different ways depending on what actually interests you, rather than it being one fixed course. The campus itself has an active club culture and loads of good food spots around, which makes it feel pretty lively and social. If you’re thinking about going to university, it’s definitely worth going to open days and having a look at what courses and degrees are available and the different pathways you can take with your tertiary study.
