Year 4 City Camp

The Year 4 overnight camp to Melbourne’s CBD was a truly unforgettable experience, packed with excitement, learning and fun. Over two action-filled days, students had the opportunity to explore some of the city’s most iconic attractions.
From the breathtaking views at the Eureka Skydeck to the behind-the-scenes magic of the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and the underwater wonders of the Melbourne Aquarium, every moment was filled with discovery and delight. The students were particularly amazed by the Skydeck’s height, fascinated by the rich sporting history of the MCG, and thrilled to see sharks, penguins and other sea creatures up close at the Aquarium.
Our home base for the camp, CYC City Camp, provided a warm and welcoming environment where students could relax, enjoy meals together and reflect on their adventures. The staff were full of praise for our students, who were exceptionally well-behaved, respectful and enthusiastic throughout the entire camp.
The Year 4 students should be incredibly proud of the way they represented our school. They embraced every opportunity with curiosity, kindness and a spirit of adventure, making this city camp a wonderful experience they will remember for years to come.
