How to Access Counselling
It has been wonderful to hear the excited chatter and laughter of students as they returned for the 2026 year. While many enjoyed a restful break, we know life events continue and some students may need support as they begin the academic year.
At Student Services, our three counsellors — Sarah, Joanne and Mandy — are passionate about supporting Casey Grammar School students of all ages and helping them develop practical tools for any mental health challenges they may be experiencing. School counselling is provided on a short to medium-term basis, and external referrals may be suggested if longer-term counselling is required.
Secondary students can request counselling by completing a self-referral form on SEQTA or by speaking with their Head of House, who can submit a referral on their behalf. If an urgent matter arises, students may drop into Student Services.
Parents/guardians of secondary students can contact the relevant Head of House or Year Level Coordinator to arrange a referral.
Parents/guardians of primary students are encouraged to speak with their child’s classroom teacher to consider whether a referral to a school counsellor is appropriate.
We look forward to supporting Casey Grammar students throughout the year.
