Junior School Commissioning

It was a pleasure last Thursday to come together in celebration of our Year 6s and our new Junior School Leaders for our Commissioning Service.
We were delighted to hear Natalie, our new Performing Arts Captain perform on the piano. It was amazing to see her practice paying off as she played completely off by heart.
In addition to celebrating the Year 6s, we commissioned our new Heads of Booth and Reid: Mrs Harvie and Mrs Iriyadi. Every Year 6 student was presented with a candle from their Head of House to mark the occasion, and we were excited to hear from our new Junior School Captains, Myra and Saahib. Here is Saahib’s reflection:
“I’m one of your Junior School captains with Myra. Two leaders that have inspired me are my parents. They are people that stand out to me because they are punctual (always on time), hardworking, and their ability to communicate with others is also outstanding. The reason why I am a leader is because of them, and I am very grateful for what they have done for me and everyone. I hope that I will be like my parents and will do my best to be kind and nice to everyone.” Saahib
