Presenting Puffs

May 8, 2024

Our Senior School Play, Puffs, is just around the corner, and our fantastic student cast and crew from Years 8–12 are hard at work polishing their scenes and putting the final touches on a highly entertaining and hilarious ‘re-telling’ of a well-known story. Puffs is a parody of the Harry Potter series wherein we follow the same story over the same seven years featured in the book and film series; however, a different boy wizard house is our protagonist, as it is about time his story was told!

Puffs is an award-winning comedic play by Matt Cox that follows the character of Wayne Hopkins, a young boy who just found out that he is in fact a wizard (something his uncle forgot to mention) and that he will be enrolled in a ‘Certain School of Magic and Magic’ where he is immediately sorted into the ‘Puff’ house and finds support in his best friends, Oliver Rivers and Megan Jones and a very eccentric group of ‘Puff’ students.

The ‘Brave’ House is for the courageous students, the ‘Smart’ House is for the clever students, and the ‘Snake’ House is for the ambitious students, but what kind of student fits into the ‘Puff’ house? Come along and watch the misadventures of Wayne and the Puffs as they face trolls, giant snakes, supervillains, wizard competitions, dragons, school dances, budding romances, soul-sucking security guards, questionable teachers and above everything else, the House Cup and their quest to come in third place! THIRD OR NOTHING!

Tickets are on sale now. Come along and support our talented students! Our show is only a few weeks away: Thursday, 16 May, Friday, 17 May and Saturday, 18 May, @ 7:00 pm.
