Our Top Achievers Reflect on Success

December 15, 2025

We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2025 and thrilled to celebrate our highest achievers, Srisaran (Dux, ATAR 97.90) and Allysha (Proxime Accessit, ATAR 97.25). Across the cohort, 8% of students attained an ATAR of 90 or above, 26% achieved 80 or above and 57% earned 70 or higher. This is a fantastic effort by everyone.

Our Principal, Mrs Fiona Williams, shared her pride in all students, noting the cohort’s strong culture of mutual support and the consistent drive students showed throughout the year. She highlighted Srisaran and Allysha as powerful examples of what can be achieved when students are encouraged to thrive.

In the lead-up to results, Srisaran had a restless night and the final ATAR initially felt unreal. Looking back, he credits a disciplined mindset and strong support from family, friends and teachers. Studying Mathematical Methods, Specialist Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and English, with Biology completed in Year 11, he treated VCE as a long-distance effort, focusing on steady progress, accountability and the long-term rewards. He is hoping to pursue a biomedical degree at Monash University.

Allysha was stunned and delighted when she saw her result. Her study routine prioritised short, active sessions and a sustainable daily rhythm, with a firm finish by 10:00pm. She kept up her hobbies, including coaching gymnastics, and found that persistence mattered more than waiting for motivation to strike. Her subjects included English Literature, Health and Human Development, Psychology, Biology (accelerated), General Mathematics and Music Repertoire Performance. She plans to study a double degree in Nursing and Midwifery at Deakin University.

Both students reflected warmly on their time at Casey Grammar School. For Srisaran, Valedictory Day felt like the culmination of six memorable years. For Allysha, experiences such as the Year 12 Snow Camp stand out as highlights. Together, they encourage younger students to keep perspective, noting that VCE and ATAR are important milestones but do not define a person’s future.
