It has been a wonderfully busy and exciting fortnight at Casey Grammar School, with so many opportunities for learning and connection taking place across our school. Students have been actively involved in classroom experiences, camps, sporting achievements and community events. It is a privilege to share these highlights with you each fortnight and I am sure you feel as proud of our students as we do.
Online Safety
We have observed that some students have been accessing Omoggle at school. When identified, the program is removed from student laptops. We encourage all families to regularly check their child’s device to ensure this application is not being used at home.
For further guidance, we recommend the article “Miss, Have You Heard of Omoggle?” by Kirra Pendergast which provides helpful advice for parents and schools on how to approach conversations with children about online safety.
