Students Making a Difference
We were delighted to welcome back Tony from World Vision at last week’s Senior School Assembly. Tony told us about the positive impact our students had through their work on the 40 Hour Challenge last term.
Ultimately our students and their sponsors raised over $4,300 to help those facing food insecurity at a level we simply cannot imagine. Tony presented each student with certificates in recognition of their efforts. Thank you to all those who participated and supported this fantastic cause.
Let us never forget that what can seem like a ‘small’ donation can have a very real impact on those who need it the most.
Supporting the RSL’s Great Work
Each year Casey Grammar School proudly supports the Remembrance Day Poppy Appeal, raising much-needed funds for returned veterans and their families. Did you know that money from this appeal goes towards a wide range of good causes, including training much loved and needed assistant dogs?
Every badge and pen contributes to real change for veterans and those they love.
Families and students can purchase the following items from Reception until Tuesday, 10 November. Please consider whether you can contribute to this worthy cause.
Looking Back and Looking Forward
A couple of weeks ago we farewelled our fantastic Year 12 cohort and the 2026 Leadership Team. I want to reflect for a moment on what a fantastic contribution they have made and the positive way that many of our students have positively shaped the culture of our school.
Their Valedictory was a beautiful celebration of this. However, at our assembly last week we started to look forward to next year through the announcement of our 2027 Leadership Team.
I am delighted to have Sehajleen as our Social Justice Captain for the second year in a row. She is a brilliant leader who has a real heart and a determination to build our community and enable students to contribute however they can in making the world a better place.
I am so excited to have her in this position and look forward to all that she will contribute in 2027.
