Casey Grammar School was founded by Christians on the values of their faith. These are values we continue to hold strongly today.
Casey Grammar is an open and inclusive school that respects the many faiths represented in our community. One way we express faith within the school is through services that seek to apply the messages and values of the Bible within our context as a school with students of many different faith perspectives.
Chapel Services can be in the form of class Chapels in Junior School where we invite families to join us, Year level Chapels at Retreats as well as large gatherings for Easter, Christmas and Senior School House Chapels. To gather this way as a community allows us to celebrate together, pray for those in need and to explore the message of faith. Students are actively involved in a wide range of ways; whether it be through choir performances, music, readings, prayers, dances, collaborative artworks or dramatic interpretations of the stories.
The input of many makes the Chapel service a richer experience. Our emphasis on compassionately responding to those in need through our Social Justice programs and our commitment to Reconciliation is founded on the example of Jesus’ life and the messages of the Christian faith.
