Science at Casey Grammar School provides our students with the opportunity to be curious about the world we live in, to wonder why it is that way, and to ask about our place within it. Scientific learning opportunities provide our students with understanding, knowledge and skills which aim to inform their scientific views of the world. Learning is centered around Biological, Chemical, Earth, Space and Physical Science, underpinned by critical and creative thinking skills.
Students engage in hands on, dedicated classroom science lessons which are based on the Victorian Curriculum and encompass the dimensions of:
- Science Understanding
- Science as a Human Endeavour
- Science Inquiry Skills
Science learning takes place within our Inquiry units. Students enjoy a fascinating and deep exploration into various science subjects embedded within them.
